We are so very pleased to have Mr. Lee Roupas join us at our booth at the Crafty Crafters Expo. Mr. Roupas  is a professional natural body builder. That means that he does not use any of the steroids or other drugs many professional body builders use to increase the muscle growth. It is a healthier and far less dangerous means of body building. He will be signing photos and his book, “Living Proof: A Fitness Journey”. He is a proponent of healthy living, a personal trainer and motivational speaker. Make sure you stop by our booth and say hello.

We’re still looking for a new home for Sanctuary Crystals. We’ve seen several places now, most are quite adequate, but far too expensive or need too much work to adapt to our needs. There are a couple that are definite contenders and we’re hoping that there will be happy news very soon on a new location. Keep watching here and the website www.sanctuarycrystals.com for further information.

We’re not gone. We have had to close the doors at 5524 W. Cal Sag Road in Alsip, IL due to financial circumstances beyond our control. We are looking for a new home for Sanctuary Crystals and hope to be back up and running very soon. We plan to stay in the general area and are working to keep our name out there and hope you will contact us from time to time just to stay in touch. We are asking that as a temporary measure you be kind enough to use the email address sanctuarycrystals@hotmail.com since we are not sure if our email will forward correctly from our usual address. We have enjoyed serving you, our loyal customers, and are looking forward to doing so again in the very near future. There have been some unkind things said over the past several weeks, we are not going out of business. This is a, hopefully, brief hiatus. We plan to return refreshed and eager to see everyone in our new home. We want to thank you all for your patronage, good wishes, love and support. You, our customers and friends, are the reason for our efforts.

We are all pleased and excited to have confirmed that Quasar himself will be with us for the Quasar Gems Trunk Show and that there will be a preview day on Friday, 14 November. As with Dan and Mari present Heaven and Earth Trunk Show we hope you will be sure to visit the East room and say hello as well as shop. There is more information on our website www.sanctuarycrystals.com so be sure to check there as well.
Things are changing at Sanctuary Crystals. One of the old display units has been removed and the improvement is wonderful. Everyone is asking why we waited so long to get it gone. We are planning other improvements as the months go by and hope you will stop in and see how things look.
We are asking that, if possible, you would be so kind as to donate to the Heifer Project (www.heifer.org), either at the store or online. They are one of the most respected and truly helpful charities out there and we are proud to give them our support and encourage you to take a look at the work they do to help others.
The November psychic fair is Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16. Our readers, JoAnn, Judith, Lynda and Vince are looking forward to your visits. There will also be a special sale going on during that weekend.
We send our best wishes for a great Halloween, as well as a Happy Thanksgiving.

We had a wonderful psychic fair this past weekend. A good time was had by all. It was a joy having Heaven and Earth here with us for their trunk show and it’s always fun being with Dan and Mari.
After long thought we have decided to take a few well deserved days off to refresh ourselves and recharge our internal batteries. We hope it will not be too much of an inconvenience for all of you, our valued customers. We will be closing early, at 3:00pm on Sunday, 31 August, and will open again as usual, at 10:00am on Saturday, 6 September. We will also be changing our weekday hours. We will be open now Monday through Friday from 12:00pm till 8:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am till 6:00pm and Sundays from 10:00am till 5:00pm.
We hope everyone will enjoy the rest of the summer and the Labor Day weekend.

We just finished setting up for the August Psychic Fair.
Our readers will be Judith, Lynda, Vince, JoAnn and Jacque.
The room has been changed a bit. We’re planning on even more redecorating as the months go on and we hope everyone will like the changes. There has been so much positive reaction to the things we’ve already done with the store.
Heaven and Earth, the Metaphysically Minded Jewelers will be with us holding a trunk show in our East room. Please stop in and see all the beautiful things they have to offer.

The mini concert and workshop presented by Darlene Koldenhoven were well received. It is always a great pleasure being granted the experience of a live performance by someone with such a glorious voice. The workshop was interesting, if somewhat disrupted by the weather. The group ended up in the bathroom to wait out a tornado warning and were found singing in there, Ms. Koldenhoven simply continued the workshop in the bathroom. Everyone who attended had an enjoyable time. We are looking forward to another visit by Ms. Koldenhoven in the near future.

Tomorrow evening we welcome Grammy Award winner, Darlene Koldenhoven, back to Sanctuary Crystals. She will be presenting a mini concert and workshop “The Healing Power of the Voice”. Having attended the first time she was at the store, we can attest that it is a marvelous experience, especially to be in the presence of someone with such a stunningly beautiful voice. The information gained during the workshop can help in many ways. Simply learning that sound can affect the nervous system directly, not just the hearing of it, but the effects it has on the whole body is eye opening. We hope you will be able to join us for this special event.
